Terms & Conditions
Age Requirements
Renters / Drivers must be 20 years old for car groups A, B, and C, and 24 years old for all other car groups.
Driving License
All drivers must hold a valid driving license for at least 2 years.
If you hold a non-EU driving license, please contact us.
UK driving licenses are accepted.
Necessary Documentation for Rental
The necessary documentation for rental includes:
Physical driving license
Passport or ID card
Credit or debit card when no extra insurance is added and Basic Insurance is selected
Minimum Rental Period
The minimum rental period is one day.
Each rental day is calculated as a 24-hour period from the vehicle pickup time.
Fuel
Our clients are responsible for fuel.
Our fuel policy is Same-to-Same.
Deposit
No deposit is required when Extra or Full Insurance Coverage is selected.
Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection at Corfu Airport, Corfu Town, and Corfu Port are free of charge.
Deliveries to all other locations are subject to an additional charge. The applicable fee varies depending on the location.
Car Drop-Off
The renter is obligated to return the car at the time, date, and location stated in the rental agreement.
Late Return
If the vehicle is not returned at the agreed time and location without prior approval from the Company, the renter will be charged for an additional full rental day.
Availability
Operational or delivery issues may require us, in certain cases, to provide a different vehicle from the one originally selected.
Payment
Payment at the time of booking: Payment by credit card.
Payment upon arrival: Payment by cash, credit card, or debit card.
Baby Seat
Available upon request for an additional daily charge of €4.
Booster Seat
Available upon request for an additional daily charge of €3.
GPS Navigator
Available upon request for an additional daily charge of €7.
Additional Driver
A second driver may be added for an additional daily charge of €4.
Taxes & VAT
VAT of 24% is included in the prices displayed on the website.
Third-Party Insurance
Third-party liability insurance is included in all rental prices, as required by Greek law.
Insurance Exemptions
Insurance coverage does not apply in the following cases:
If the driver has not been added to the rental agreement as an additional driver
Damage to the vehicle’s interior
Loss of or damage to the vehicle’s child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, or fuel cap
Theft resulting from the keys being left inside the vehicle due to negligence
Engine damage caused by the use of incorrect fuel
Loss, damage, or theft of the vehicle keys
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Damage caused by inappropriate driving, misuse, or negligence
Driving off-road
Traffic & Parking Fines and Driving License
All traffic fines and related administrative sanctions resulting from any violation of Greek traffic law during the rental period must be paid by the renter.
The renter is solely responsible for any traffic violations, fines, penalties, or administrative sanctions incurred during the rental period.
If the vehicle’s license plates are confiscated by the authorities due to a traffic violation committed by the renter, the Company is under no obligation to provide a replacement vehicle or any form of compensation.
If the renter’s driving license is suspended or confiscated by the authorities for any reason, the renter must immediately return the vehicle to the Company.
In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided for the unused rental period.
Off-Road Driving
Driving the vehicle on non-asphalt roads is strictly prohibited.
Ferrying Vehicle Policy
Our vehicles are not permitted to leave Corfu Island without prior written permission from CARFINO.
Please note that, in such cases, the vehicle will not be covered by insurance or roadside assistance, and an additional penalty of €300 will apply.
In Case of Accident
The renter is responsible for immediately reporting the accident to both the Traffic Police and CARFINO.
CARFINO will contact the insurance company and arrange for an insurance representative to attend the accident location.
The renter must also provide the Company with a signed copy of the official accident report.
Vehicle Replacement Following an Accident
If the rental vehicle becomes immobilized as a result of an accident for which the renter is responsible, the Company will make every reasonable effort to provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability.
The Company may require up to 24 hours to arrange a replacement vehicle.
If a suitable replacement vehicle cannot be provided within this period, the rental agreement may be terminated, and the renter will receive a refund for the unused portion of the rental period.
No additional compensation or damages shall be payable by the Company.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver is included with all vehicles free of charge.
Potential damage to the tires, wheels, underside of the vehicle, and all glass parts, including mirrors, is excluded from this coverage.
Extra Insurance Package (E.C.D.W.)
The Full Damage Waiver insurance package covers potential damage to tires, wheels, and glass parts for an additional daily charge starting from €12.
Damage to the vehicle’s interior or mirrors, as well as the loss of or damage to the antenna and wheel covers, is not covered and will be charged separately.
The renter’s maximum liability starts from €150.
Full Insurance Package – ZERO Risk
With this Premium Insurance Package, the renter is fully covered against liability for damage to the vehicle.
The excess is reduced to zero for an additional daily charge starting from €15.
Our Vehicles
All vehicles are fully inspected and regularly serviced.
All vehicles are cleaned and disinfected.
24-hour roadside assistance and an emergency helpline are provided.
In the event of a mechanical breakdown, the Company is obligated to replace the vehicle within 24 hours, subject to availability.
Vehicle Availability
In the unlikely event that the vehicle reserved by the renter becomes unavailable before the rental period due to damage, mechanical failure, or any other reason that makes it unsuitable for rental, the Company reserves the right to provide a replacement vehicle of the same category and at the same rental price through one of its trusted partner rental companies.
The replacement vehicle will be provided under the same rental terms and conditions agreed upon with CARFINO.

We reserve the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
